12.4.05: I'm part of an upcoming group painting exhibit at Playspace, the graduate gallery at CCA, entitled Fantastic Amnesia. The show will be up from December 13th through January 6 with an opening on Thursday, December 15th from 6-9pm.

10.24.05:

I'll have a piece in the 15th annual Southern Exposure juried show opening November 4th and running until December 10th--with a reception on the 4th from 7-9pm. This year's theme for the show is "Mayhem" and the exhibit was curated by Julie Joyce. The piece I'm showing is "Future Unlimited! (five too far)".

10.23.05:

From now until November 5, I have a pair of pieces up at Swell Gallery, the graduate exhibition space of SFAI. It's part of the CCA/SFAI joint grad exhibition featuring work picked from each respective body of students by jurors from the other grad program. There will be a closing reception on November 3rd.

10.12.05:

The "Talk Story" print commissioned by National CAPACD now also has a cameo in Visual Communications' documentary on Asian immigrant workers in Los Angeles, "Grassroots Rising".

9.23.05 :

Two upcoming shows!:

The 2005 Murphy & Cadogan Fellowships Award Exhibition runs from August 24th through October 1st at the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery at 401 Van Ness with an opening reception on September 9 from 6-8pm. I just finished installing a newly updated version of my wall piece, "Clear Skies, Gracious Living (par 5)".

Paper Cuts Again, will be at the Fetterly Gallery of the Vallejo Community Arts Foundation from September 17th through October 29th with an opening reception on the 17th from 2-4pm. The Gallery is at 3467 Sonoma Blvd. in Vallejo. I'll have a couple drawings in that exhibit.

4.6.05 :

Some of my work will be up in the exhibition space at the front of the Nave (main building) of CCA's SF campus (1111 Eighth Street, San Francisco, CA 94107-2247) for the next week. Check it out there if you didn't have the chance at Open Studios.

3.31.05 :

California College of the Arts grad programs are having an Open Studios event this Sunday, April 3rd from 12 noon to 5pm. The event is free and open to the public so come on through. The event will be held at the San Francisco campus at 1111 Eighth Street, San Francisco, CA 94107-2247.

1.26.05 :

The mural unveiling went really well. Many thanks to SAJE, and Janice especially, for throwing a great event. Next up in terms of public events is the "5th Annual Monster Drawing Rally" fundraiser for Southern Exposure Gallery in SF. I'll be drawing during the 9-10 pm shift. Groups of about 25 artists will be drawing for hour shifts. The drawings produced will be sold for $50 each.

1.18.05 :

Finally getting this real site up after sitting on the web space for too long.
Hopefully just in time for the event this Friday, the 21st. SAJE is throwing this event to unveil the mural I did for them over the summer. It should be great; with speakers including KRS-One and performances by Quinto Sol, Faith Santilla and others. Even if you can't make it in person, KPFK will be broadcasting live from the event from 7-8 pm (which is also available through their website, www.kpfk.org)
